Experience

I am an 8th-grade art teacher with 20+ years experience working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Thank you for supporting my work—I hope you discover resources here that will benefit your classroom!

My teaching career began in Tucson, Arizona, in 1999, where I served as the sole high school art teacher, working with students across all grade levels. During my time in Arizona, I also taught at both an elementary school (K–5) and a middle school (6–8). In addition to teaching, I’ve worked as a freelance muralist and portrait artist, allowing me to combine my love of art with my professional practice.
In 2017, I moved to Texas, where I taught elementary art before transitioning into my current role as an 8th‑grade art teacher at an at-risk intermediate school.
In 2025, I opened my Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) store to support fellow educators and provide opportunities for creative exploration in the classroom.
