About the Store

Experience

Oceanview Resources acknowledges the Bundjalung people, the Traditional Custodians of the land where we live and work. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and recognise their continuing connection to Country, community and culture.

Hi, and welcome to Oceanview Resources!

I’m a teacher with over 40 years of experience across a wide range of year levels, subjects and school settings. I’ve worked in government and independent schools, both in the classroom and in specialist roles, including Reading Recovery and English as a Second Language (ESL).

I also spent 20 years as a relief teacher, so I know what it’s like to walk into an unfamiliar classroom with very little notice—and sometimes even less information! That experience shapes everything I create. My resources are clear, practical and easy to pick up and use, because teachers need materials they can rely on.

My aim is to help you spend less time preparing and more time teaching. Whether you have your own class or teach casually, you’ll find thoughtfully planned resources that save time, ease the workload and keep students engaged.

Many of my resources support the NSW Curriculum and align with Australian curricula, with the flexibility to adapt them to your students and classroom.

In my store, you’ll find:

Complete units with clear lesson sequences

Digital learning tools and interactive resources

Practical classroom décor

Relief teaching packs designed with casual teachers in mind

After more than four decades in education, I know how much work goes into a teaching day. Oceanview Resources is here to help make yours a little easier.

Teaching style

I believe students learn best when they’re involved, curious and actively participating. That’s why I create hands-on, interactive resources that combine digital activities with practical printable worksheets.
My focus is on clear, well-planned materials that cater for different learning needs and give teachers confidence—including relief teachers stepping into an unfamiliar classroom.
Every resource is designed to make preparation easier and help you deliver engaging, purposeful lessons.

Honors and awards

Teaching across a wide range of year levels, including multigrade classrooms, has taught me the importance of adapting lessons so every student can participate, feel supported and make progress. That experience guides the way I plan lessons and create resources.

My experience includes:

- Teaching multigrade K–2 and Years 3–6 classes
- Working as a Reading Recovery, RFF and Learning Support teacher
- Creating courses for the ClassCover Relief Teaching Association
- Writing units of work for Inquisitive
- Working as a unit writer and Learning Support teacher for NSW Distance Education

These roles have given me a practical understanding of what students need to learn—and what teachers need to help them succeed.

Education

With over 1,300 resources in my store, you’ll find a wide range of practical options—from classroom décor, complete units and relief teaching packs to interactive games and worksheets. I also create clipart and video logos for TPT sellers, extending my support to fellow resource creators.

Supporting teachers goes beyond the resources I make. I’ve created and continue to help run several Facebook teaching groups, reaching more than 20,000 teachers across these communities. They’re spaces to share ideas, find support and connect with others who understand classroom life.

I also support new and experienced TPT sellers through Facebook groups, offering guidance and coordinating sales events to help them build their businesses.
