Classroom Expectations Sort
Searching for an editable back-to-school activity that will reinforce your classroom and school expectations? The goal of this resource is to have students identify different positive behavior choice that represent the three categories: Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Safe. Students will cut the actions out and then sort them into the categories. This is a great activity to use as a jumping point into a meaningful discussion about behavioral expectations, or as a review when appropraite behaviors have been disappearing in the classroom.
Best part is that the actions are totally customizable! There are 15 provided actions already put in and 12 empty spots to get building/classroom specific (or delete if you don’t want them!). You can change any of the pre-filled in actions, as well!

For Calculating Hourly Wages and Overtime Pay Pixel Art
October 15, 2026While I absolutely enjoy this resource, I had some initial difficulty getting my students to actually be able to work on it individually. First, it is online only through google slides; so, I made a copy as instructed. However, the mistake I made was sharing that copy with all of my students. When they accessed it, they were all editing the same copy. I had to make a copy for each of my students and share it with them individually. Second, I had to give each student editor permission (I only missed this step twice). That being said I do love the resource as it self-checks, enabling students to get a 100% and complete the picture. I plan to us it again.

Typically, once you create your own copy, we recommend sharing that through your schools Learning Management system and then there is typically a spot to click that creates individual copies for students. Hopefully that can streamline that process for you for future use!

For Intro to the Executive Branch - Digital Resource Activity for Gov & Civics
March 17, 2026Solid resource that introduces students to the executive branch, however, the secret code was screwed up and ended up not making sense, 2 numbers needed to be changed for it to make sense. Highly suggest modeling the first two answers or so for students because it can be a bit confusing at first.

For Aquatic Biomes Reading Passage and Pixel Art Activity
March 16, 2026My students enjoyed this activity. However, many were frustrated when "intertidal" would not work for the answer to question #8. Looking at the answer key it was misspelled in the Google Sheets file as "intertidel" and I am not able to correct it.
