Easy, no-prep, print-and-go resource to review vocabulary related to the Hero's Journey in secondary English Language Arts classes! Review, assess, or reinforce vocab knowledge with this engaging activity.
This is a no-prep resource to review the phases of the Hero's Journey. Use it as...
Quickly determine if students have just memorized the order of the Hero's Journey or if they deeply understand each phase, as terms are NOT in order throughout the maze! Students will start in the top left corner and move through the maze, matching each definition with its term in order to move on. There is no "end here" given to students in the original form of the maze. Instead, students must determine where the maze ends based on which square they are in when they run out of possible correct answers. This level of challenge makes the maze a bit more difficult and avoids "giving away" the final answer. However, we have included a version with an "end here" designation included, in case you would prefer that scaffolding for your students.
