I made a deck of cards with these and my students love playing! The best part is that they get to practice nonsense words at the same time! I have used the blank option to create additional decks. Great buy!

I use this resource regularly as a fun way for my students to practice reading words in isolation as we practice our phonics skills. The kids always love to play this game. The only thing that would make it better is including phrases or sentences.

I absolutely love these. I bought them all. My kids ask to play them every day, and I am happy to let them. The cards help them review, and they are having fun. This is the best activity I have found.

I use this game in my small groups. Students are constantly asking me when we will play again. They love this game. I typically have students match by feature instead of color or number. So if the last card has a short a sound the card they lay must have a short a sound. If a word starts with ch the next card layed has to have ch somewhere in it. This has really helped students identify parts of words!
