Beginning Sound Search is one of 16 task card games. This set will have students searching for all of the beginning sound pictures that match the letter in the bottom right-hand corner.

Two sizes are available in this pack:

• Full-size pages if you do not have/use the Photo Keeper Boxes from Michaels/Amazon.
• Standard task card size that fits in Recollection Photo Keeper Boxes.

There are a total of 26 small task cards (4 cards per sheet) and 26 full-size pages. There is one letter per task card/page. Each task card/page has both an uppercase letter and corresponding lowercase letter in the bottom right-hand corner, with pictures that begin with the letter in the corner, as well as pictures that do not begin with the letter in the corner, scattered throughout the card/page. Students will find the letters' beginning sound pictures and place a small manipulative over them, or they will circle the pictures with a dry erase marker (if cards/pages are laminated).

This is a fun and simple way for students to practice letter recognition and beginning sounds, as well as helps young learners develop one-to-one correspondence, and fine motor skills!
