Rhyming Spin and Cover is one of 16 task card games. This set will have students searching for and recognizing rhyming words.

Two sizes are available in this pack:

• Full-size pages if you do not have/use the Photo Keeper Boxes from Michaels/Amazon.
• Standard task card size that fits in Recollection Photo Keeper Boxes.

This set includes:

1. 30 small task cards and 30 full-size task cards with pictures and words.
2. 30 small task cards and 30 full-size task cards with pictures only.
3. 30 task cards and 30 full-size task cards with words only.

For the small task cards, a spinner card that corresponds with the rhyming mats is also included. These cards have a star with a number so students can easily pair them together. The spinners are on the same page as the rhyming mats for the full-size task cards.

Each rhyming mat has 9 rhyming words for students to match with the spinner words. There are a total of 21 mats with three words for students to match up with the 9 words and 9 mats with four words for students to match up with the 9 words.

Students will have so much fun spinning spinners, finding rhyming words, and covering the rhyming words using the color code on the spinner with linking cubes (or unifix cubes or counting chips)! The color code on the spinner makes a great visual for students to see each group of rhyming words, as well as a way for them to self-check and/or self-correct.

This is a fun, hands-on, and simple way for students to practice rhyming words, as well as helps young learners develop one-to-one correspondence and fine motor skills! Another added bonus - the 3 different sets allow for differentiation! Perfect for small group work, centers, morning tubs, or an early finisher activity.
