Description
This set includes four differentiated emergent readers for each of the following short a word families: ab, ad, ag, am, an, ap, at.
Each word family will come with 4 differentiated books, for a total of 28 books, to meet the needs of your students.
- A book with a simple picture and sentence using common kindergarten sight words and following a predictable pattern.
- A book with a simple picture and sentence using common kindergarten sight words and following a predictable pattern. These books will also call students’ attention to the word family spelling pattern.
- A book with a simple picture and one word that names the picture. Students will trace the whole word family word.
- A book with a simple picture and sentence using common kindergarten sight words and following a predictable pattern. These books also include dots for students to touch while reading.
This set can be used in whole and small group instruction, for intervention, and/or sent home with your students to practice at home. Once your students have mastered the words on the page, you can do a word study and have them highlight, or circle, the word family word pattern on each page.
Each book has the same page on the top and bottom of the page to make printing, copying, cutting, and sorting easier and save you time!
