Description
Finding phonics practice that also gives students meaningful reading work can be a challenge. This printable PDF combines digraph review, phoneme-grapheme mapping, spelling activities and differentiated decodable reading passages in one flexible resource for 1st-3rd grade.
Students practise the digraphs SH, CH, WH, QU, PH, TH and NG through a variety of worksheet games and literacy tasks. Each passage includes sight words for pre-reading and four reading comprehension questions, allowing students to apply their phonics knowledge while reading connected text.

I also love the layout of the comic strip. It has enough space for text and illustrations so student word isn't cramped. My students absolutely loved the ease of this comic strip template.
