Engage 6th and 7th grade students in morphology with real-world events! This resource uses St Patrick's Day vocabulary to expose students to word morphology, morphemes, and etymology.
This resource includes 10 reading passages with key morphology words for students to read in context. There is a supporting structured word list that breaks down morphemes. Included are 5 comprehension questions and word identification tasks. The reading passage is also a fluency passage with a word count tracker.
