Science Posters- The Periodic Table-Brown Corduroy Design
$5.00 (1)
This senior chemistry package includes a full lesson set for a complete unit on Stoichiometry. Within the unit package, you'll find the lessons and activities I use to teach this unit in my own classroom.
Each lesson includes the lesson (student and teacher versions of the presentation), an auto-graded Exit Ticket, multiple embedded videos, and a student lesson handout as a document. The activities allow the students to demonstrate their understanding in an engaging manner.
This unit includes the following lessons:
Lesson 1 - Stoichiometry in Solutions
Lesson 2 - Gas Law Stoichiometry
Lesson 3 - Stoichiometry - Solving Quantitative Chemistry Problems
Included in the package:
Each lesson contains:

What are the student versions and how do they encourage student understanding?
The student versions of the presentations contain multiple blanks that need to be filled in throughout the lesson. These blanks are conveniently underlined and bolded on the teacher copy. I have found this to be the most effective means of keeping my students engaged and active without having them write everything out. This also leaves more time for discussion and activities.

Lesson 3 - Stoichiometry - Solving Quantitative Chemistry Problems
This senior chemistry lesson package teaches students how to use Stoichiometry to determine quantities of reactants and products before and after chemical reactions have occurred. The lesson starts by explaining what stoichiometry is and how it uses relationships between quantities to quantify chemical reactions. It then explains the steps to stoichiometry, the mole ratio, and concludes with two fully worked questions to check your students' understanding and to keep them engaged throughout. It is geared towards students who are in high school chemistry, either junior or senior years. The presentation contains diagrams, examples, and explanations.
