A fun beginning French reading comprehension and intermediate French reading comprehension activity about a cat with digestive issues. This short story is written for both novice and intermediate French students.
This is the story of Marlene and her farting cat, Bruno. Bruno causes many problems for Marlene as she goes about her day at school. But will he also cost her a chance to go out with her crush?
There are two versions of the story - one is in the present tense for beginners, and one is in the past tense (imparfait and passé composé) for intermediate level students.
It includes:

I love these CI resources for my French classes. My students found this silly story very entertaining. I teach combined levels at once (1-3) and these activities and lessons are readily adaptable to the various levels of student proficiency in my room. And my students enjoy them as well!
