Description
French Extra episodes 1-4 listening comprehension worksheets turn the French-language series into structured, usable class time. This activities bundle gives students vocabulary support, comprehension checks, and varied follow-up practice for each included episode—ideal for second-year French learners and teachers who want ready-to-use viewing guides.
This bundle supports episodes 1-4. The episodes can be used independently, but watching the series in order provides the strongest story context.
For each episode, materials include:
- Vocabulary list with English translations
- Vocabulary list with no translations - have students fill in while watching
- Comprehension questions in French
- Comprehension questions in English
- Flashcards for the vocabulary list
- A word spiral puzzle
- A crossword puzzle
- Fill in the blanks
- Scrambled sentences
- A word search puzzle
The activities provide comprehension checks plus scaffolding for learners who need support with the dialogue. French and English question options allow teachers to adjust the level of challenge.
Students need access to the French version of the episode; video access is not included. For lower-level learners, a version with French subtitles may provide helpful support.

I used parts of this as part of a substitute lesson plan for my students. The resource is a great resource, but you did not include the answers for the page of short answer questions. There is a French page and also an English page of questions; but there are no answer keys provided. Can you please add that as an updated link? I wanted something quick and easy to grade; without the answer key it's a longer process that I had hoped (and I pay a good amount for the resource).
