While the film is appropriate for teens, there are a couple of scenes that you should definitely preview. If you feel that they are not appropriate for your students, those scenes can easily be skipped without affecting the understanding of the plot.

This is a very thorough resource. There are lots of activities that will be interesting for older students. The movie was a little too mature for my students - but I'm glad I have this resource for the future.

I love this resource because it's much deeper than your typical comprehension questions but nothing too difficult where the students get overwhelmed. It allows them to gain background knowledge about the songs, the deaf community in France, and Louane, as well as be a little creative in the critique. I used this with my Level 4 students.

This movie is great and the song is so nice. This is an excellent activity book to go with the movie and song

For the last two years, my third-year students found these activities particularly engaging. They all loved practicing the signs on the first page. Our school has ASL as a class, so my students would practice with their friends in that class. We completed several activities prior to watching the film which is part of our unit on family. I liked that the original song by Michel Sardou was included in the lyrics activity. The activity I found particularly interesting was asking students to compare the original song to the newer version by Louane. This is a great resource full of challenging and interesting activities the students enjoy. Thank you so much!
