Yearlong Morning Meeting Slides: SEL Question of the Day No Prep Bell Ringers
(2 ratings)$15.00
Add to cartTransform your Morning Meeting with these yearlong SEL Question of the Day slides for K-6 classrooms. These editable daily prompts are perfect for community building, social emotional learning, and morning bell ringers in K-6 classrooms. They are perfect as a discussion or writing prompt, giving your elementary students a chance to practice their speaking, listening, and writing skills each and every day, all year long. Plus this resource comes with Free Yearly Updates!
The social-emotional learning question on each editable slide takes between 5-15 minutes and can be used for multiple purposes, including:
daily SEL check-ins
to foster meaningful student relations
to build classroom community
as discussion prompts
as writing prompts
morning meetings
restorative circles
character education
Each question of the day is presented on its own slide with an image and a weekly positive affirmation. Throughout the week, students will be asked questions that relate to self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. Each Monday, the affirmation statement includes a Youtube link to a related short video, song, or picture book. (Be sure to always view links to ensure they are still active and appropriate for your particular classroom.) This yearlong resource includes 259 slides (that start on June 29, 2026 and run through June 25, 2027) and can be used alone, or in conjunction with my Student Planner. Click to purchase all 3 products as a BUNDLE PACK.
The 1st - 5th grade teachers at my elementary school use these slides every day as part of their morning meeting. Sometimes the kids share out to the whole class, while other times the kids meet in small groups or respond in writing. We often use these questions to remind students about their PBIS skills, AVID skills, or soft skills that we are constantly reinforcing.
Here's what's included:
250+ daily slides from June 29, 2026 - June 25, 2027
Question of the Day with picture
Weekly Affirmation Statement with Youtube video link
