Looking for an easy way to keep your 4th grade students engaged during your Math STAAR Review? These TEKS aligned Math Stations are a FUN and ENGAGING way to review the essential math content, especially when students need a break from the monotony of multiple choice questions.

Your students will love these stations! They are perfect for Test-Prep, RTI and Small Group, Summer School, or as an End of Year culmination activity!

This bundle includes 10 STAAR Math Stations and a STAAR Study Guide Booklet which address ALL the Readiness Standards for 4th Grade.

This resource is more than just math stations. It also includes a STAAR Study Guide with a review page that can be led in a whole class setting or guided math small group, a page to record work from the station, and an extend page for students to complete after their workstation time.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

✅10 STAAR Math Stations: Each fun STAAR Station is unique and targets 1 to 2 TEKS Readiness Standards. Some of the activities included are: games, matching, sorting, true or false, puzzles, task cards and 2 game boards that can be used with any set of question cards!

Each station comes with directions that include "I can" TEKS statements with standards listed on station cards for easy teacher use.

✅Study Guide Mini-Booklet: The STAAR Study Guide student booklet has 4 sections: Review, Practice, Extend and Notes. Students record station work in the Practice section of their study guide as they rotate through stations. When completed, this study guide serves as a test-prep study tool!

✅Teacher Answer Key: Two answer key formats are provided. A student friendly version is included in each station so students can check their work. A Teacher Edition version of the STAAR Station Study Guide provides answers for all sections.

✅Station Cover Pages for Easy Organization: Each station comes with a cover page which includes "I can" statements identifying the standards that each activity targets. These covers work great to organize each station.

✅Color and Blackline: This station inlcudes both color and black-white versions.

TEKS INCLUDED in BUNDLE- All Readiness Standards:

✔4.2(B) Represent the value of the digit in whole numbers through 1,000,000,000 and decimals to the hundredths using expanded notation and numerals.

✔4.2(G) Relate decimals to fractions that name tenths and hundredths.

✔4.3(D) Compare two fractions with different numerators and different denominators and represent the comparison using the symbols >, =, or <.

✔4.3(E) Represent and solve addition and subtraction of fractions with equal denominators using objects and pictorial models that build to the number line and properties of operations.

✔4.4(A) Add and subtract whole numbers and decimals to the hundredths place using the standard algorithm.

✔4.4(H) Solve with fluency one- and two-step problems involving multiplication and division, including interpreting remainders.

✔4.5(A) Represent multi-step problems involving the four operations with whole numbers using strip diagrams and equations with a letter standing for the unknown quantity.

✔4.5(B) Represent problems using an input-output table and numerical expressions to generate a number pattern that follows a given rule representing the relationship of the values in the resulting sequence and their position in the sequence.

✔4.5(D) Solve problems related to perimeter and area of rectangles where dimensions are whole numbers.

✔4.6(D) Classify two-dimensional figures based on the presence or absence of parallel or perpendicular lines or the presence or absence of angles of a specified size.

✔4.7(C) Determine the approximate measures of angles in degrees to the nearest whole number using a protractor.

✔4.8(C) Solve problems that deal with measurements of length, intervals of time, liquid volumes, mass, and money using addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division as appropriate.

✔4.9(A) Represent data on a frequency table, dot plot, or stem-and-leaf plot marked with whole numbers and fractions.

When I'm not creating new math resources or working with teachers, I'm designing and fabricating light shows sequenced to music with my husband and our team. That business came about after our family was featured on ABC's The Great Christmas Light Fight.
