Description
This No Prep Financial Literacy notebook thoroughly covers the 4th grade Financial Literacy TEKS: 4.10A, 4.10B, 4.10C, 4.10D, & 4.10E. Simply print and hole punch and this notebook is ready for you to teach! Use the pages for whole class or small group guided math lessons while also helping students build their own reference tool.
This is a TEKS centered resource. While others may be “TEKS-aligned,” they often cover Common Core standards as well. My Texas specific resources cover the TEKS and nothing but the TEKS, so that teachers don’t have to spend additional time sorting through what to use and what not to use. I know how precious each and every school day is; there is no time to waste. As with all of my resources, it is also designed with STAAR in mind.
This notebook has 9 student pages plus a detailed key that cover the following topics:
•Fixed and Variable expenses
•How to Calculate Profit
•The basic purposes of financial institutions
•Advantages and Disadvantages of Savings options
•Allocating Allowance between Spending, Saving and Sharing

Meet the Seller
In addition to my work in education, I also run a STEM-based Christmas Light Show business. When I'm not creating new math resources or working with teachers, I'm designing and fabricating light shows sequenced to music with my husband and our team. That business came about after our family was featured on ABC's The Great Christmas Light Fight. My son attends the University of Texas, Austin and I'm currently soaking up every last minute with my daughter, a high school senior.
