Place Value Game: Decimal Place Value Model Cards

Share

Description

This set of 24 cards will help your students practice matching decimals to pictorial models up to the hundredths place. This is a perfect addition to your place value unit! I have included a student recording sheet that you can use for accountability or to take a grade if needed. I have used these cards as a Matching Activity, or to play Memory or Go Fish. They work great at a math station, and they are also a perfect activity to do with your small group. I initially created a card set to practice a skill with a small group instead of using a worksheet and the lesson was so successful that I made more! The other benefit is that I don't have to run copies for each new group or every year to practice a needed skill. I have included one set with a color background and another blackline set if you prefer to print on colored cardstock. Meet the Seller

In addition to my work in education, I also run a STEM-based Christmas Light Show business. When I'm not creating new math resources or working with teachers, I'm designing and fabricating light shows sequenced to music with my husband and our team. That business came about after our family was featured on ABC's The Great Christmas Light Fight. My son attends the University of Texas, Austin and I'm currently soaking up every last minute with my daughter, a high school senior.
