Cosmetology Perms and Relaxers Scavenger Hunt
Looking for a way to engage students outside of the cosmetology lab? Searching for a way to get students moving in the classroom/theory room while engaged in an activity? Look no further than this perms and relaxers scavenger hunt! This activity has sixteen questions related to perms and relaxers. Simply print and post the questions/answer sheets around the room. Students, either individually or in pairs, walk around and hunt for the answers. Best part is that this activity provides instant feedback as there is only one correct path, and you get an easy to grade assignment. It is a prefect, print and post addition to your cosmetology elective, pre-vocational or vocational class!

For Calculating Hourly Wages and Overtime Pay Pixel Art
October 15, 2026While I absolutely enjoy this resource, I had some initial difficulty getting my students to actually be able to work on it individually. First, it is online only through google slides; so, I made a copy as instructed. However, the mistake I made was sharing that copy with all of my students. When they accessed it, they were all editing the same copy. I had to make a copy for each of my students and share it with them individually. Second, I had to give each student editor permission (I only missed this step twice). That being said I do love the resource as it self-checks, enabling students to get a 100% and complete the picture. I plan to us it again.

Typically, once you create your own copy, we recommend sharing that through your schools Learning Management system and then there is typically a spot to click that creates individual copies for students. March 17, 2026Solid resource that introduces students to the executive branch, however, the secret code was screwed up and ended up not making sense, 2 numbers needed to be changed for it to make sense. Highly suggest modeling the first two answers or so for students because it can be a bit confusing at first.

February 6, 2026Some of the station answer choices are incorrect, based on the key. From what I can tell, three of them are incorrect (11, 3 and 13 I think). Also, clarification on some of the questions would be helpful, specifically on the vowel question (y?) and the blue flower/purple vase question.
