Science vs. Pseudoscience Activities Mini-Bundle
Looking for supplemental supports as you start your school year off with teaching about the branches of science, scientific method and what is an isn't considered science? This science vs. pseudoscience activities bundle is the engagement piece you've been looking for to support your classroom! Included in this bundle is a print and go paper sorting activity. The cards are not in order, so you can give it to your students to cut and sort! In addition, the perfect digital homework practice or exit ticket comes via the gamified Beat the Sheets self-checking activity. This 12 question resource provides different scenarios and students have to identify if it is an example of science or pseudoscience. This pair of resources is an ideal add-on to your current science curriculum!

For Calculating Hourly Wages and Overtime Pay Pixel Art
October 15, 2026While I absolutely enjoy this resource, I had some initial difficulty getting my students to actually be able to work on it individually. First, it is online only through google slides; so, I made a copy as instructed. However, the mistake I made was sharing that copy with all of my students. When they accessed it, they were all editing the same copy. I had to make a copy for each of my students and share it with them individually. Second, I had to give each student editor permission (I only missed this step twice). That being said I do love the resource as it self-checks, enabling students to get a 100% and complete the picture. I plan to us it again.

Typically, once you create your own copy, we recommend sharing that through your schools Learning Management system and then there is typically a spot to click that creates individual copies for students. March 17, 2026Solid resource that introduces students to the executive branch, however, the secret code was screwed up and ended up not making sense, 2 numbers needed to be changed for it to make sense. Highly suggest modeling the first two answers or so for students because it can be a bit confusing at first.

March 16, 2026My students enjoyed this activity. However, many were frustrated when "intertidal" would not work for the answer to question #8. Looking at the answer key it was misspelled in the Google Sheets file as "intertidel" and I am not able to correct it.

February 6, 2026Some of the station answer choices are incorrect, based on the key. From what I can tell, three of them are incorrect (11, 3 and 13 I think). Also, clarification on some of the questions would be helpful, specifically on the vowel question (y?) and the blue flower/purple vase question.

For Mendelian Genetics Holiday Gingerbread Coloring Activity
December 5, 2025I have several color by number activities I use in Biology but this may be my favorite because there are 3 versions to color. The questions/content are the same but not everyone is coloring the same picture so it gives some variety for me to display and to keep everyone doing their own work.
