Finding x and y-intercepts Cipher Pursuit Digital Resource Activity
Cipher Pursuit is an engaging and interactive Google Sheets activity designed to challenge your Algebra students' problem-solving skills while having fun. In this activity, students answer a series of questions to gradually uncover pieces of a cryptogram. This activity promotes independence as the resource itself provides instant feedback with each student input into the answer boxes. Each correct answer turns green and reveals a hidden section, which helps them decode the secret code word. As they progress, your secondary students not only enhance their knowledge and understanding of finding both x-intercepts and y-intercepts, but also experience the thrill of a treasure hunt, ultimately piecing together all the clues to solve the cryptogram and riddle learning an exciting adventure. For Calculating Hourly Wages and Overtime Pay Pixel Art
October 15, 2026While I absolutely enjoy this resource, I had some initial difficulty getting my students to actually be able to work on it individually. First, it is online only through google slides; so, I made a copy as instructed. However, the mistake I made was sharing that copy with all of my students. When they accessed it, they were all editing the same copy. I had to make a copy for each of my students and share it with them individually. Second, I had to give each student editor permission (I only missed this step twice). That being said I do love the resource as it self-checks, enabling students to get a 100% and complete the picture. I plan to us it again.

March 17, 2026Solid resource that introduces students to the executive branch, however, the secret code was screwed up and ended up not making sense, 2 numbers needed to be changed for it to make sense. Highly suggest modeling the first two answers or so for students because it can be a bit confusing at first.

For Aquatic Biomes Reading Passage and Pixel Art Activity
March 16, 2026My students enjoyed this activity. However, many were frustrated when "intertidal" would not work for the answer to question #8. Looking at the answer key it was misspelled in the Google Sheets file as "intertidel" and I am not able to correct it.

February 6, 2026Some of the station answer choices are incorrect, based on the key. From what I can tell, three of them are incorrect (11, 3 and 13 I think). Also, clarification on some of the questions would be helpful, specifically on the vowel question (y?) and the blue flower/purple vase question.
