This is absolutely perfect for what I was needing! We just started a new child in our Christian School who needs to truly go back to the basics of deciphering letter sounds. And this is great! He can sound these out as we play and doesn't feel belittled because even, I have to sound out these fun nonsense words! We can't wait to also utilize the blank set into sight words!

My daughter was so behind from Covid. We used this game at home with her brothers to help her build her fluency. She tested on benchmark at the end of the year in nonsense word fluency. This definitely helped make school remediation seem like fun instead of punishment.

I think this way of learning to read is annoying, but this resource made it so much more fun! We knew my daughter was going to be tested on these types of words but, before we found this, we didn't know how to prepare her for it. This was perfect! It was a fun way to introduce a foreign concept and have it make sense. It prepared her very well for her second grade testing.
