Description

A student may need feedback throughout the day to recognize what is going well and where they need support. The Race Car Traffic Light Behavior Chart gives you a visual way to record that feedback, with a mail truck theme for students interested in vehicles and deliveries.

This daily behavior chart breaks the day into sections so you can record a rating after each activity or routine. It includes a fillable PDF with designated text fields for entering your student’s schedule and goals, plus a printable version for handwritten use. The layout and graphics cannot be changed.

Use the chart to review progress with the student, communicate with families, or keep a record of daily behavior ratings.

What’s Included

  • Race Car-themed daily behavior chart
  • Fillable PDF with designated text fields for the schedule and goals
  • Printable version for pencil, crayon, or marker use
  • Red, yellow, and green traffic light ratings
  • One-page daily recording format

How to Use the Chart

  1. Enter the schedule and goals. Type into the designated PDF fields or write on the printed chart.
  2. Teach the rating system. Explain what green, yellow, and red mean for the specific behavior goal.
  3. Record feedback throughout the day. Guide the student to color or mark the appropriate light after each activity or routine.
  4. Review progress together. Recognize improvements and discuss what support or practice could help during difficult parts of the day.
  5. Keep or share the completed chart. Send it home for family communication or save it with your student support records.

Make Behavior Feedback Specific

This red yellow green behavior chart records ratings across daily activities rather than using a clip that moves between colors. It gives you and the student a way to look back at different parts of the day and discuss when things went well or when additional support was needed.

Keep expectations specific so the student understands what each rating means. For example, if the goal is asking for help, discuss whether the student asked independently, needed a reminder, or needed additional support. Pair the chart with instruction and practice so the student understands what to do and can work toward greater independence.

Use the Race Car Traffic Light Behavior Chart to organize daily feedback and help your student recognize progress toward their goals.
