Phoneme Substitution Build and Clip Task Cards is one of 16 task card games. This set will have students practicing and strengthening their phonemic awareness skills by manipulating phonemes in words. Students will determine words using the pictures, build those words with letters, and then determine the new word, identify the sound that changes, and build the new word.
Two sizes are available in this pack:
This set includes:
Students will use magnetic and/or letter tiles to build words and clothespins to mark what phoneme/sound has changed in the words, making this a fun, hands-on, and simple way for students to practice phonemic awareness skills, as well as helping young learners develop one-to-one correspondence and fine motor skills! No magnetic letters or letter tiles, no problem! Students can simply use dry erase markers.
Another added bonus - the 3 different sets allow for differentiation! Perfect for small group work, centers, morning tubs, or an early finisher activity.
