In this project which covers MS-LS1-3, you will explore how body systems work together to keep the human body healthy and functioning. Students will research the main parts and jobs of each system, discover how they depend on each other, and learn what happens when one doesn’t work properly.
Students will demonstrate their understanding building a 3D model or creating a simple animation that shows how the systems interact. Students will then present their project to the class and explain how real-life choices—like eating healthy or exercising—can affect these systems.
Body Systems in Action Project:
✅ Hands-On Science Exploration: Students research and demonstrate how two human body systems work together to keep us alive.
✅ Choice-Based Creation: Build a 3D model or design a creative animation using Google Slides, Flip, Canva, or stop-motion tools.
✅ Real-Life Connections: Includes lifestyle impact examples like asthma, diabetes, and the role of healthy habits.
✅ Presentation-Ready: Students deliver a short talk to explain their project, boosting science communication and confidence.
