Population Ecology Data Graphing Lab Bundle | HIGH SCHOOL | Population Dynamics
$5.97 $3.97
Add to cartThese three population ecology data graphing activities will help your students understand how predator and prey populations change over time, how resources affect carrying capacity, and how limiting factors such as food availability and disturbance affect population size while building strong graphing and data analysis skills. This bundle gives teachers an easy, NO PREP way to have students work with real-world style ecology datasets to explore Predator vs Prey Dynamics, Carrying Capacity, and Limiting Factors.
There are 3 Graphing Labs Included:
My Promise to You
I know every classroom is different. If you purchase a resource and feel it is not the right fit for your students, contact me and I’ll provide 2x the amount you paid in store credit toward another resource in my store, so you can find something that better supports your students.
Students analyze real-world style population ecology datasets related to predator and prey population cycles, population differences over time, carrying capacity and logistic growth, mean population under different food-resource levels, population stabilization, resource availability and population size, and population change after disturbance. They then create a variety of graph types from data tables before using their graphs to identify patterns, analyze trends, and explain how populations change in ecosystems.
Each activity includes a complete answer key with the required graphs and is very easy to differentiate for different ability levels.
This graphing bundle is also included inside my High School Science Graphing & Data Analysis Mega Bundle at a significant discount. The bundle contains graphing activities for grades 9-12 science topics in biological and physical sciences as well as specific subjects like chemistry, physics, and biology.
Students use provided real-world data tables to:
Each activity moves students from reading data → graphing data → interpreting patterns → explaining scientific processes.
