TWA is a validated Self-Regulated Strategy Development (SRSD) model for reading comprehension. This strategy works for all struggling readers including students with learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and ADHD.

♦ Spelling and Phonics Pattern Flash Cards and Posters

• These posters and flashcards in a cool, neon style are designed for struggling readers in the upper grades who are often facing "babyish" reading work due to their below-level reading skills. Encourage growth in reading and spelling skills as well as give students with significant disabilities a reference point to increase their independence (less "Teacher, how do you spell....???" throughout the day!!).

♦Read with Speed Intervention Program

• Read with Speed is a phonics-based intervention that provides struggling readers a targeted way to increase their reading fluency (both speed and accuracy). This is a quick, effective strategy that works as a classroom center, or as an RtI or Special Education intervention. Students can practice with a peer, on their own, or at home in just minutes a day. Teacher prep and progress monitoring is also quick and easy to maintain. All needed forms, including positive reinforcement certificates, are included!
