Looking for a simple activity for back to school? The Get to Know You Back to School Name Plate activity is a great first-week activity to get to know your students. Use the editable activity and rubric to help your students create a different version of the nameplate. This will engage students and create a beautiful activity for your bulletin board display to kick off the school year.
The activity asks students to make a list of family, favorites, and anything they want you and their peers to know. Then students decorate a nameplate with all of the important information. It also asks students to write about the illustration. This is a great way to get a baseline on your student’s writing strengths and areas for growth.
