Description

For Kindness Week, why not infuse SEL, character education, and writing into your daily handwriting practice? These 20 cursive worksheet pages let your students practice their handwriting all while reading, tracing, and writing kindness statements before responding to a related writing prompt. It's a great way to combine social-emotional learning with reflective writing either for individual practice or as a centers activity. This resource can be used during Random Acts of Kindness Day, World Kindness Day, or The Great Kindness Challenge or any time of the year.

This is nice way to start the day off on a positive note while still sneaking in a bit of writing practice. If you print out copies and place them in sheet protectors in your students' binders, kids can use their whiteboard markers and practice the same kindness statement each day for the whole week, which save on copies and ink.

Please note: If you have trouble printing, be sure your printer drivers are up-to-date.

I'd love to hear how you use this resource in your classroom! Feel free to email me at iteachiwrite@yahoo.com with any questions or suggestions you may have.
