Build connection, routine, and emotional awareness with this meaningful check-in check-out system.

Product Description

The Check In Check Out Behavior Sheet is more than a behavior tracker—it's a tool for building trust, emotional regulation, and positive daily habits.

While many point sheets are labeled as “Check In Check Out,” they often miss the heart of the strategy. This resource is rooted in best practices and focuses on proactive support, goal setting, and strong adult-student relationships—not just tallying points.

Why This Resource Works

Unlike traditional behavior charts that focus only on compliance, this tool helps students:

  • Start the day with intention through morning check-ins and emotional reflection
  • Build responsibility and self-awareness with daily goal-setting
  • Reflect on their actions and identify areas of strength and growth
  • Form meaningful connections with a consistent adult mentor
  • Feel supported, not judged—with gentle guidance and encouragement

Connection is Protective

Research shows that a strong relationship with at least one caring adult at school is a powerful protective factor for students, especially those navigating behavioral or emotional challenges. These daily check-ins offer a simple, structured way to make that connection consistent and supportive.

Why It’s Not Just Another Point Sheet

Many behavior forms that call themselves CICO fall short. This resource is designed with intention—to support real reflection, emotional learning, and habit-building. It’s simple to use, but rooted in practices that actually help students grow.

If you're ready to do Check In Check Out the right way, this resource gives you everything you need to launch with confidence.

“This is a great resource for all students. Some of my students read/write at different levels, so this was a perfect resource for students to reflect and start the day off strong with daily check-ins and outs with me. Will use again this year!”
